Pipe probably from the Savinelli brand, due to the almost illegible marking on the mouthpiece. The original finish was, most likely, sandblasted or rusticated. The previous owner decided, with better intention than skill, to sand this finish to make it a smooth finish. In the process all factory marks were removed. The end result is not perfect but it is not terrible either and the pipe is perfectly usable and has a long life ahead of it.
