Founded in 1972 in Pesaro, Mastro de Paja was born from the dream of a group of pipe smokers determined to restore Italy’s prestige in the face of the Danish boom. With Giancarlo Guidi as its creative soul, the workshop not only crafted pipes of unique character but also became the epicenter of the Pesaro school, from which brands such as Ser Jacopo, Don Carlos, Rinaldo, and Le Nuvole emerged.
Today, Mastro de Paja keeps that tradition alive. Each piece is handcrafted from carefully selected briar and finished with the classic elegance and creativity that have always defined the brand, securing its place as a benchmark in contemporary Italian pipe making.
